lauraine mann's Approach

I believe Healing begins in the body.

A Space for Healing and Aliveness

I offer you a space to heal mind, body, and soul. My desire is to help you make changes that last, to feel your aliveness, and to embody more fully so that you live life consciously, freely, and with empowerment.

The work we do together will help you explore who you are at your core and give you the strength and courage to bring your true essence into the world — to be seen, heard, and felt. You are here to thrive, feel alive, and become who you are meant to be.

My practice is grounded in the Principles of Radical Aliveness, which I strive to live by and share:

  • Cultivating a Non-Shaming Heart and Attitude – seeing goodness in ourselves and others so that vulnerability and deep healing can emerge.

  • Knowing I Don’t Know – staying curious and open rather than judging or assuming.

  • Welcoming Multiple Perspectives – honoring differences, even when we don’t always agree.

  • Being Willing to Be Changed – allowing transformation through the unknown.

  • Saying YES to Everything (even our NO!) – welcoming all feelings so we can stay, transform, and know ourselves more deeply.

Alongside these principles, my background in psychology, somatic training, and years of energy healing allow me to work intuitively and experientially with each person. I tailor my approach to meet you where you are, so mind and body can come into greater alignment.

Guiding principles

What we know to be true.

  AWARENESS BEFORE CHANGE

Change doesn’t begin by forcing something new.
It begins by noticing what is already happening.

We take time to understand your patterns — in your body, your responses, and your relationships — so change can come from awareness, not pressure.

  YOUR BODY HOLDS WISDOM

Your body already knows more than you think.

This work is about learning to listen to it —
to what you feel, what you need, and what has been held over time.

You are not here to be fixed.
You are here to understand yourself more fully.

  HEALING HAPPENS IN CONNECTION

We are shaped in relationship, and we heal in relationship too.

Being seen, felt, and understood by others creates something that can’t happen alone.

This is where new ways of relating begin.

Why the Dragonfly

People often ask me why my logo is a dragonfly.

The honest answer is that it wasn’t something I sat down and decided as part of a branding exercise. It came long before I even knew what I wanted to do with my life.

They began appearing in my life during a time when I was going through a lot of change. I was 19, just beginning to open into something that felt like a deeper understanding of life, of people, and of myself. From the outside it may not have looked like much, but inside something was shifting.

The moment that stayed with me most was during a deep conversation with someone close to me, when a dragonfly unexpectedly flew into the room, circled us, and then left. It was simple, but it felt significant in a way I couldn’t quite explain.

Since then, dragonflies have continued to appear at moments that feel meaningful or alive.

Over time, they’ve come to represent something personal — a quiet kind of transformation. The kind that happens beneath the surface, that isn’t always visible, but is very much unfolding.

It’s something I carry with me now — even quite literally, with a dragonfly tattooed on my body.

I never set out to make it a logo. But when it came to choosing a symbol, I couldn’t imagine anything that holds transformation in quite the same way.

Born and raised in London, I loved the rhythm of city life balanced by the English countryside. In 2017, I moved to the USA. After time in Utah, I eventually found my home in New York City; an environment of culture and diversity, close to nature where I can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the earth. Like many, I’ve experienced trauma. For years, it left me dissociated and disconnected from my body and life. My healing journey has been about reclaiming those parts of myself. Bridging the gap between mind and body became my passion, allowing me to grow into greater presence, intimacy, and aliveness.

Early in my journey, I discovered meditation and energy healing. In weekly groups I learned to travel inward, reconnect with dissociated parts, channel spirit, and work intricately with energy. Over time, I honed my intuitive and empathic abilities to serve others. I was also introduced to the Native American Way of Life; sacred, intricate, and beautifully simple. The healing I received and learned to facilitate continues to shape both my personal life and my work.

I hold deep care for individuals who have experienced sexual abuse and am an advocate for creating systemic change in how survivors are supported. I also work closely with LGBTQIA+ community, honouring the complexity of identity, self-expression, and belonging. At the heart of my work is empathy, sensitivity, and respect for the uniqueness of each person. I lead with intuition and heart, then bring in the techniques and training I have gathered over decades. When embodied and aligned with our true selves, the world becomes a place of colour, vitality, and possibility. My role is to help you uncover what keeps you stuck and guide you toward freedom, aliveness, and joy.
