Welcome. These terms cover your use of laurainemann.com. By using this website, you agree to them. If you choose to work with me, our working relationship is also covered by the client agreement and consent form we sign together, and if anything in these terms differs from that agreement, the agreement takes priority.

1. Who I am

This website is operated by Lauraine Mann, psychosomatic practitioner, based in New York City and working with clients in person and worldwide via Zoom.

2. What this website is for

The content on this website, including articles, emails, meditations, journaling prompts and social media posts, is shared for general information and reflection. It is not medical, psychological or legal advice, it is not a substitute for care from a licensed medical or mental health professional, and reading it does not create a client relationship with me.

3. Not a crisis service

This website and my practice are not crisis or emergency services. If you are in crisis or feel unsafe, please call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US), call 911, or contact your local emergency services.

4. Who can use my services

My services are for adults aged 18 and over.

5. Booking, fees and cancellations

Calls and sessions are booked through Acuity Scheduling. Fees are shown on the relevant pages of this website and confirmed before we begin. My practice is private pay only, and I do not work with insurance companies. I have a 72-hour cancellation policy, and sessions cancelled within 72 hours are charged. Full details are included in our client agreement.

6. No guaranteed outcomes

Everyone's experience of this work is different. I bring care and skill to every session, but I cannot promise any particular result.

7. Your content and conduct

If you contact me, comment, or take part in any group or workshop, please be respectful of others, keep anything shared by other participants confidential, and use this website only for lawful purposes.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, meditations, the Lauraine Mann name, logo and dragonfly mark, belongs to Lauraine Mann or is used with permission. You are welcome to share links to it, but please do not copy, reproduce, sell or distribute it without my written permission.

9. Links to other sites

This website may link to other websites, such as Substack, Instagram or booking tools. I am not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lauraine Mann is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
